I wish I could’ve written to you yesterday, especially before you wrote. But I didn’t even realize I was almost late for work! We just flowed! I returned late and had to open up the photo you sent before I crashed into bed; I had to read it! I often thought about how I wanted to be remembered personally, not so much for what I did, but for how I lived and made people feel and how my presence affected others and their journey here. Giving Young People a Plan!

 

At the age of 13, did you know what you wanted to do for life as a career? Did you ever think about your legacy? How about now as an adult? How many wish they’d known then what they know now so they could get started earlier on their path? I never once said I wanted to be a photographer. Not once. Yet, here I am. Had I known then that this is something I could do well, I would have started way sooner. My daughter went today to see Lori Theriault with WorkIt, who helps you dive in and discover who you are and what you want your legacy to be. It’s not just for children. If you’re an adult with no idea where you’re going after your babies are grown, or someone in a career where you’re miserable and you want a change, Lori can help! It’s never too late. NEVER. Make your life what you want it to be. Learn who you are and where you want to go. Explore that area of your mind. That’s what Lori did for ***, and she has a plan. She is excited about this plan! Lori is also a great friend of mine. Figure out your legacy and dive into your wants and desires for yourself and who you want to become. You never know what you’ll find. Thank you, Lori, for showing *** what she didn’t even know.

Reacquainting people with Hope

Lori is amazing. She has a real gift for reading your soul while listening to your story. She flat out told me I needed to go back to school and finish my MBA. Her confidence that this was a necessary step for the next stage of my life gave me the confidence to do re-enroll into the MBA program. After my session with her, I was rejuvenated and reacquainted with my goals and hopes for the future, and I saw myself through her eyes. I cannot thank her enough for being my cheerleader, a source of constant support, and a sounding board.

Raising self awareness

My business partners and I utilized Work It!’s assessment and training to understand each other better and work through conflict more productively. It was great to have an outside opinion looking in and is scary how accurate the test is in general. We were able to use the results as a strategic tool to determine job roles within the company and raised self-awareness of each other’s personality traits to build a stronger company organization. Lori is highly recommended and truly was a life- saver!
